ITV Player catch-up service now available on Android

On the off chance there's something worth watching on UK TV station ITV, there's now a “catch-up” app available for Android. And as with the BBC's iPlayer Android app , there's a weird list of specific requirements to get it running. Your phone will have to be running Android 2.2 or higher, plus the app checks to see if you have Adobe Air installed – which is compulsory to make it work. Again, as with the iPlayer service, there's no 3G connectivity. If that hasn't put you off, here's what ITV Player looks like on Android:

The front-end of the app is nice, but the custom video player's a bit grim.
