ARCHOS G9 Tablets Announced

ARCHOS announced two new Android tablets. They include two for factors; the 80 G9 (8″ 1024 by 768 display) and the 101 G9 (10.1″ 1280 by 800 display). They also ship with the fastest dual-core processor,  a CORTEX A9 OMAP4 1.5 GHz. In addition to putting the quickest processor in, they add a couple more features to stand out from the crowd. A 250 GB Hard Drive option and a 3G option that can be added after you buy the tablet.

The 101 G9 is listed for $399.99 for the 16GB model, and $499.99 for the 250GB model.

As mentioned by Engadget, Archos have a new of budget-friendly android tablet that already approved by FCC, called the Arnova 7. Priced at just $99, the device gets WiFi 802.11b/g connectivity enables the access to the AppsLib store, 4GB of flash memory, and a 7-inch 800x4800 resistive touchscreen (no capacitive touchscreen, Sorry…). The Arnova 7 also can handle  H.264, MPEG-4, RealVideo video playback up to 720p resolution at 30fps, built-in speaker, microphone, USB connector, USB HOST connector, a microSDHC card slot, and runs Android 2.2 Froyo OS.

Google TV 2.0 ‘Fishtank' developer kit revealed running Honeycomb and apps

As Google TV gears up for a Honeycomb-based v2.0, the team announced at the I/O event that developers could get access to “Fishtank” hardware for them to test their apps on and here it is, revealed by Geek.com. The hardware itself is a relatively nondescript box packing an Intel CE4100 processor (no ARM…yet) and a Logitech Revue wireless keyboard that connects wirelessly via a USB dongle, plus a few more ins and outs than retail boxes have including coax.
